The ticking
The top layer of the mattress, the ticking, is made of polyester and therefore very ventilating. The ticking has no topstitching and that is why it’s elastic and extra soft. The ticking contains a layer of Vent-tex®, so that the mattress ventilates well.
The ticking contains no wool, is removable and easily washable at 60 degrees. Ideal for people with wool or house dust mite allergy.
Pocket springs
Auping Elite is made of new materials in a completely new design. In the centre of this mattress is a pocket spring core with 3 zones, specially developed for Auping. Made of only 2 materials; steel and polyester.
Without noticing, you turn about 30 times a night and with these pocket springs your sleep will not be disturbed.
The underside of the mattress
The underside of Auping Elite consists of a felt base made of polyester. This felt base provides a stable basis, good ventilation and is circular.
All Auping mattresses are suitable for all bed bases and are available in a variety of sizes, both single and double, up to 220 cm in length.
Welcompadd®
This padding on top of the mattress provides extra softness; the diamond-shaped cushions caress your skin and feel as if your mattress is welcoming you.
Vita Talalay Origins®
Auping Elite has a comfort layer of Vita Talalay Origins®. This comfort layer unequalled resilience and comfort. Made of the most sustainable natural latex available, unfortunately not yet circular.
Niaga®click-unclick adhesive
The components of the mattress are held together by polyester yarn and a special bonding system: Niaga®click-unclick adhesive. These are granules of polyester that are melted by heating them in order to bond parts together. After use, Niaga® click-unclick adhesive can be reheated to detach the parts. This ingredient is what makes it possible to produce a modular circular mattress.
Product Passport
Auping Elite is 80% circular and 20% recyclable. This mattress has been equipped with a label with a QR code. By scanning the label, you can see which materials have been used to make your mattress and how it can be returned for recycling. This allows us to reuse the valuable materials again and again so together we can help eliminate waste.

In a class of its own
Auping Elite is the most comfortable mattress you will ever lie on. Or should we say, that you will lie in? You just sink into it blissfully. This is mainly due to the Vita Talalay Origins® comfort layer. To make the mattress even softer, we’ve added an extra layer. This layer is called Welcompadd® and consists of soft, diamond-shaped cushions close to your body.
Good ventilation
The mattress is primarily made of polyester. The airy structures of this material ensure that the mattress ventilates very well and moisture is removed.

How well can you recycle our mattresses?
About 35 million mattresses are discarded and thrown away in Europe alone every year. Many mattresses are burned or end up on the rubbish dump. At Auping, we want to do this differently. Better.
Mattresses are difficult to recycle due to the complex composition of glued materials. At Auping, we develop mattresses that are as recyclable as possible. Auping Inizio scores a B label.
The materials can be reused continuously to make new mattresses. That is circular.
Don’t be ashamed. A big part of the materials is reused to make, for example, a judo mat or sound insulation. We call it downcycling.
The materials are ground down into granules that are burned in the incinerator. The heat released in this process is used to generate electricity.
The materials end up as landfill.
Did you know that a lot of mattresses end up in the rubbish dump unnecessarily? Therefore, always take your old mattress to an Auping store or waste disposal station for the best possible processing.

Our ergonomic research shows that you must use different zones for shoulders, waist and hips to provide the best support. So that is what we did.
Auping Elite is available in 3 types of personal support and 3 firmness categories. The shape of your body determines the zoning that provides you the perfect support.
